Aghhh! Another poem
In a possible occasional series
A mind-numbing, blow-by-blow account
Bit like when relatives show ya
The dreaded photo album -
Won\'t take long to see it, dear
Only about 3 hours!
But this is about when I (maybe Goldfinch too)
Met St George in person one day
Patron Saint of England
Was ya there in person too?
I recall meeting some of ya there.....
Bit daft though - did he fight a real dragon?
I did - KP\'s mother-in-law! heehee.
A story of some guy around the 2nd Century AD
Killing a dragon
Probably a Komodo Dragon or summat
If the truth\'s known
Pop into the George & Dragon Pub later
For a celebratory drink
With Goldfinch and me
I\'ll be there to add water to ya tipple though
It was Goldfinch and me
That killed the dragon really!
