Jou Wilder

Twice Punished

I while away, but can\'t hide the pain,

Why didn\'t you take \'em all with you?

The memories once cherished  now haunt with intensity.

You could have stowed away with everything,

Do you revel when I ache?

Why let go of our love in the peak of its downpour?

You severed the moment,

Skidding away into another\'s arms.

It still plays in my head.

It hurts to know you\'re cradled in death\'s warmth.

I\'m punished twice:

First for loving you,

And the next,

For clutching onto the memories of you.
