In the absence of hope and trust,

Hate will prevail and conquer,

All that’s left is just love and lust,

I don’t care, I just want her.

Her eyes as blue as the sky,

Her hair as brown as oak,

Her smile as bright as stars shine,

Yet she hides them under a cloak.

I’ve crushed and pushed and upset,

She hates me so much with scare,

I want what we had when we first met,

But to her it is not fair.

I’m broke and hollow to death,

I love her to the moon and back,

I’ll love her to my last breath,

But her love is something I lack.

In the absence of hope and trust,

Hate will prevail and conquer,

All that’s left is just love and lust,

I don’t care, I just want her.

Amazing is not enough,

She’s fantastic in every way,

The moment I tasted her love,

She took my breath away.

I’ve wasted it all by now,

My selfish greed in my way,

Me back she will not allow,

She wants me to stay away.

I struggle to say what I need to,

So I’m saying in the way I know how,

Words will push and pull through,

I need her but I don’t know how.

In the absence of hope and trust,

Hate will prevail and conquer,

All that’s left is just love and lust,

I don’t care, I just want her.
