It was early morning the Sun hadn’t risen yet. I went out on the back porch with my coffee to have a cigarette. Standing on the back porch staring at the sky I saw it, it was heading southbound
when it passed me, by Suddenly it zoomed back north and much to my surprise it hovered silently in front of me I could not believe my eyes It cast a beam of bluish gold light brightening the night
I had a strange sensation as I floated up into the light I was on a strange spacecraft as best as I could tell So when this being approached me I was as scared as holy hell He never said a word to me His thoughts where in my mind We are going to run some tests on you We are interested in human kind Its eyes the shape of almonds They were as black as coal It seemed to look right through me Into my very soul Now I’m on a table Attached to many machines I could only think to pray I’ll wake up from this dream
They did their tests and prodding How long it took, I do not know
I was relieved with a sensation That they would let me go
And just like that, there I was Back on my back deck It is well past noon now And I’m a total wreck They said they would come back again Sometime really, soon They said that they would take me
To the dark side of the moon They said they have a base there
And have had it there for a very long, long time But they could not tell me everything, they said it would blow my mind They say they came to help us For we are a destructive race They have had to restrain us to keep us in our place They say that we are acting badly And our neighbors are all getting scared They are all getting pissed off and they are getting very mad They said we had better change our ways And start acting very good Or they just may have to, force us to leave the neighborhood they say they are peaceful being But they say enough is enough and they will no longer put up with any more of our crazy stuff!
