The Forest

It\'s lonely in the forest of my mind,

Mosquitoes chew my eyes till I\'m half blind,

I\'ll give you my arm until it rips,

If only to taste the Sicily spices on your lips,

So throw me in a ditch and tan my hide,

Till I see spirits from the other side,

I don\'t need anyone else but you,

And I\'ll remain yours till I turn blue,

We\'ll drink any milk that we can find,

You can play rough and I won\'t mind,

If the clouds roll in to rain on my desire,

We\'ll get some sticks and start a fire,

The fog blocks out the moon\'s pale, glowing shine,

But I don\'t need it because you are so fine,

If I could feel your precious breath on me,

My heart would sing a melody,

In the forest of my mind.
