Oh ! No! there they go again,
Babies, toddlers, women, men.
Rushing in their crooked lines,
egnoring all the warning signs.
Risking life it seems to me,
This army of humanity,
Babies first, in blue and red
advancing buggies, yards ahead.
Dashing forth, no time for stopping,
Far too busy window- shopping,
Cars and buses crawling by unnoticed,
Just the same as I,
So many years I\'ve stood close by,
The chaos seen through my red eye,
I\'d love to give them all a fright,
Alas, I\'m just a traffic light.
