Feeling

When I am happy it feels like the sun
Warming my face as I skip and I run
It smells like ice cream with raspberry sauce
I\'m as free as a bird and as strong as a horse

When you are happy how does it smell?
What does it feel like? How can you tell?

When I am sad I feel like a slug
All slow and squashy, stuck in the mud
It smells like a cabbage, old and rotten
I tell someone I trust and it is soon forgotten

When you are sad how does it smell?
How do you feel? who do you tell?

When I am brave I feel big and tall
Like my giant shadow who lives on the wall
I take a deep breath and smell the fresh air
I take a leap forward, I know that I dare

When you are brave? what do you do?
How do you feel when someone shouts booo?

When I am scared I feel like a jelly
All wibbly and wobbly inside of my belly
It sounds really quiet, yet it\'s hard to think
It\'s less of a smell and more of a stink!

What makes you scared? What do you do?
How do you feel when you\'re not quite you?

When I\'m excited I feel like a bunny
All bouncy and flouncy, giggly and funny
I\'m giddy, I\'m gold, I cannot fail
I look like a puppy chasing it\'s tail

When you are excited, how do you feel?
What do you look like? What makes you squeal?

When I get sleepy and ready for bed
My favourite thoughts float into my head
I feel soft and swishy like a cloud in the sky
Light as a feather floating on by

So when it\'s dark and the stars shine bright
I hope you sleep safe and sound tonight
With a toy or teddy or blanket to hug
Sleep as soft and as snug as a bug in a rug

Sweet Dreams and feelings
