I love how this poem captures an intense moment between the frog and the narrator. The line "staring at each other, neither of us moves" made me feel like I was right there, experiencing the scene myself. Simple yet powerful imagery!

Not really my cup of tea, this poem. Didn't spark much feelings in me, sorry. I guess it could be relatable for someone else though. Just too plain for my taste, kinda dull. Maybe it's just me, I suppose.

OH MAN, THIS TAKES ME BACK! A HUGE FROG AND I BY KOBAYASHI ISSA...READ THIS AS A KID! IT'S SO SIMPLE YET SO COMPLEX. ISSA REALLY HAD A WAY WITH WORDS. ALWAYS LOVED THIS LITTLE GEM OF A POEM, DEEP AND THOUGHTFUL!

Wow, such a simple yet deep poem. I remember reading this back in my yung days. Both the frog and the person just there, looking. Simple words but carrie lot of weight, you know? Made me think 🤔🐸. Good piece.
