I Never Saw a Moor

Emily Dickinson

 Next Poem

I never saw a moor;
I never saw the sea,
Yet know I how the heather looks
And what a billow be.

I never spoke with God,
Nor visited in heaven.
Yet certain am I of the spot
As if the checks were given.

    WOW, I JUST READ 'I NEVER SAW A MOOR' AGAIN AND GOTTA SAY IT LEFT ME A BIT DISAPPOINTED. I REMEMBER LIKING IT MORE WHEN I WAS YOUNGER, ANYWAY IT'S JUST 'MEH' FOR ME NOW. NOTHING REALLY SPEAKS TO MY SOUL LIKE GOOD OL' FASHIONED POETRY. WOULD RATHER READ SOMETHING ELSE TO BE HONEST. 🙃😴 MAYBE IT'S JUST NOT MY STYLE? 🤷‍♂️
