Love is Wind.

Love is the wind.
 I am a leaf.
I fall, I get carried away, I land.
 In a moment I'm free
 in unknown land.
Only to find I'm still caught in the whirlwind.
It's effortless, weightless, completeness I feel
but when the wind stops
 I settle
all that slips away,
alone
one leaf
with no wind to carry
is just a dead leaf
left to crinkle and break.

Excellent bit of random reflection, methinks. At least the imagery inclines me that way. The metaphor beautifully describes love and its precarious ups and downs. Impressive. Superb. I really like this!
