Forgiveness

E_Legal_1

No one in this world is free from sin,

Hell is the world we live in.

So many things can happen in a lifetime,

That the choices we make can haunt us.

At what point do we say enough?

At what point had we had enough?

A tormented soul can only take so much.

Release that feeling and ask for forgiveness,

Look to the heavens and pray for better days,

Feel your heart and the tears in your eyes,

That’s the energy that the universe is waiting for.

A release of all those negative feelings.

It’s waiting for an apologetic message from your soul,

That you regret the decisions that you formed.

We only have one world and one life,

Ask for forgiveness with all your heart and move on.

Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understandings; in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight. – Proverbs 3:5-6

  • Comment from author about the poem: To error is human, to forgive is divine. We all make mistakes and sometimes those mistakes put us in really difficult situations. Remember that you are not alone and that you are not the only one that is going through things. Forgive yourself for those errors even if others don't forgive you.
