The Game of Life

The Game of Life

The game of life goes on,
one by one - players will fall.
   down the lane like a bowling ball;
or a race car driver into a wall . .

Life will play you, life will test you
many o'time, it will bless you

What it does is not your call
and what it gives you is merely
nothing more than nothing at all
Unless you take what you're given
and expand it like paint on a wall

Stop your chase in life for dreams,
silly child. Realize. Life's not evil...

No! life's not fair.
Though nothing seems to be at times of need,
times of hate, times of dispair.

Remember tomorrow won't come
if you're not there to witness it in.
Life will go on if you believe in it!
Turn around, face up, you're liven it!
