In my solitude
I found myself again
Within my silence
I listened to my inner voice
And I discovered
Certainty within my doubt
I keep his name
Within my prayers
Asking dear Lord
To keep him in grace
And I fly my soul
Close to him
Wrapped with my warm heart
Hoping he will feel me
In his blissful isolation
Of finding himself
Wishing there would be a light
To kill the darkness
So once again
We could hold love
And place it in this empty hole
To be complete once more

BEAUTIFUL JESS ! Love is awesome but it's also elusive. Your poem expresses perfectly what all of us so often feel ! When (for whatever reason) we are separated from the one we love most - it is darkness - isolation - an empty hole. God is Love and it is His will that we should all experience True & Lasting Love.
