X

Set in me what you all wish to see,

Be it an ageless blight or peaceful serenity,

Casted aside from the trinity,

Of what I was or hoped to be,

Foolish in nature but blessed in society,

What we see as the fire rages,

Set to fail before perceived,

Bountiful knowledge so blissfully relieved,

See in me what you failed to receive.

THANKS X - for a very enigmatic poem. There is more to each of us than meets the eye and we often judge too quickly - especially if we don't get (receive) what we expected ! In my experience (as well) we often have to look twice (or even three times) to see the real person behind the action. Thanks for sharing - please check my poems - BRIAN
