Loveless

Izzi Lynn

Fingertips ghost across my hair
Lightly toying with it

Tongue pressed to cheek
Wet and laughable

Hands tighten around hips
In a tight embrace

Now the spaces where she's been
Feel empty
Loveless

Warm fingertips caress my hair
Gently playing with it

Breathy laughter echoes in my ears
Loud and clear

Small hands clasp mine
Tightening quickly

Now the spaces where she's been
Feel empty and loveless
Loveless

Fingertips ghosted across my hair
Lightly toying with it

Tongue was pressed to cheek
Wet and laughable

Hands tightened around hips
In a tight embrace

Warm fingertips caressed my hair
Gently playing with it

Breathy laughter echoed in my ears
Loud and clear

Small hands clasped mine
Tightening quickly

And now
The spaces where she's been
Feel empty and loveless
Loveless

  • BRIAN & ANGELA

BEAUTIFUL POEM - SILVER - Thanks for sharing. Girl on Girl bonding is very special and my Sister tells me when it ends it leaves such a void. Your enduing expresses this beautifully "The spaces where she's been - feel empty and loveless - loveless". Think of you and if it's possible i hope you will find a new lover very very soon. Yours BRIAN

Beautiful. Although I lost my in a much different way its still all the same. My man of 15 years just died from a brain stem stroke and I struggle every day, every waking moment is a struggle for me. One day you will find your true love. They wont replace this person because you will never love two people in the same way but thats not to say you wont love them as much or even more.
