Forever Changing

The Poet

The rain falls in the moonlight every night

This is the time of night sorrowful souls take to the sky

And the sound of the monsters inside or outside engulf your mind

A dry wind blows a wave of change

Hard times turn to better times of life

Life turns upside down in a moments glance

Rain has washed the spirit clean of hate

The rain has washed the spirit clean

How could rain change the soul in the matter of one foreboding day

Forever changing and always in our lives

The rain can wash the Earth of dread and death
