The Wooden Spoon

drgnchaser

I'm on the hunt

Over both shoulders I look

Cookies are what

I seek

Pushing chair to counter

I would peek

On the seat

I would sneak

The cupboard I can reach

Cookies are what

I seek

Umm yeah these are good

Let's make off

With the goods

Uh oh

My hands are slipping

I'm losing grip

I can't hang on

Oh I hope

It's a short trip

CRASH, BANG, AND BOOM

Oh I think mom's going

To need a broom

There's cookies

All over the room

Oh what a great boon

Until mom grabbed

The wooden spoon

A few spoons would be a grave understatement
