i see everything
he hits you day in and day out
he tries to control you
you try to make him not shout
you can only do but so much
he says he loves you but don't mean it
you take him back and fall for his tricks
and you need to know that he ain't shit
just listen up and beware
don't fall hard
and love is not fair
i don't understand why you stay
if he don't treat you right
don't hold him down and don't stay by his side
he doesn't care for you
why do you care for him?
all he does is hurt you
i hope you understand
just listen to me
listen for once
don't ever say that it's too late
we can stop him
stop him from hurting someone else

WELCOME JAZMINE ~ Thanks for very challenging first poem. Domestic abuse is very rife and we should all be alert to it ~ Within our Families ~ Within our Community ~ Within our Country. It is usually Men (sometimes the stories make me ashamed to be Male) but as your video shows ~ Females can be abusive too. Loved the music ~ Thanks for caring and sharing ~ BRIAN
