The Poet Of Las Vegas Boulevard

Kurt Philip Behm

The Poet of Las Vegas Boulevard,

steals emotion from the night

Holding a vigil in the darkness,

waiting for the light

The Poet of Las Vegas Boulevard

among the screams and homeless cries

Making rhyme of what reason has abandoned,

marking time inside its shadowy lie

This is really nice. This poet is "making rhyme of what reason has abandoned.'" This a very reflective poem. Makes you think of this poet making sense of the cacophony of Sin City.

That's exactly it, and I'm headed back there tomorrow. Thanks as always!
