I See

Eeva

I see their biggest smiles,

I see their widest grins,

I see what makes them laugh,

And I really can't fit in.

I see their bright warm faces,

I see them glow with joy,

I see their eyes light up with happiness,

And my sour look doesn't fit in.

I see them laughing at harmless jokes,

I see them tear up with friends,

Yet I'm just standing there,

Awkward and lonesome,

With a frown still etched upon my face.
