Deception

clockwork

A demon disguised as an angel.

Welcomed me with open arms

with promises that she will not judge me for my past.

Promises that she will never turn away from me

that she will be my redemption.

but she had other plans

plans to poison my mind and consume all light within in me

To leave me in a place of pure darkness for me to suffer.

i was too late the damage was dealt

ive become a victim

a victim to her wicked games.

This piece speaks to me, on many levels. In fact, it reminds me of one of the works I've written before, a few months ago, to be precise. About a demon in disguise, hiding in the flesh of a man.
With that, nicely done. I greatly appreciate the demon in disguise theory. Thanks for the read
