A lark among the pines

Reivax Camlost

Follow footprints left in pure, unsoiled snow

in a distant sky, tomorrow lies with a golden glow

As a weary wandering traveler, I will with chill decree

As the tall trees shivered in their shadows black and green

Weathering the winter cold, remain so stark, alone and free

The peace we seek, assaying flight from dark and bone-cold times

An ill sought piece of fleeting shadow light, a lark among the pines

      I googled "inspiring photos".

That one was from the site "50 most inspiring photos"... or some name like that.

I also enjoy using music for inspiration-

      Preferably string, preferably Vivaldi.

If I tell you that I have a painting in my bedroom where a couple shares an umbrella and walks through a path surrounded with pines!! Amazing.
      I'd check OUT Rachmaninov.
      I like Stravisky. Write more....🍁🍀🍂🍃

        I believe it!

Thanks for the feedback, again, so valuable.
        Always a pleasure to write.

I have listened to some Rachmaninov, and while I enjoy his somber tone, the chaotic undercurrent can be a little offputting (then again, it was an adagio, not an Allegro, so it's supposed to be that way). then again, how could I dislike his work? It goes above and beyond.

I will also check out Stravisky.
