silent beacon

cagedspirit

Sometimes I want to shut the world out

It doesn’t understand my words.

No matter the tears or laughter

My speech still sounds slurred

Is there anyone out there

That can feel the darkness I contain?

Is there anyone out there,

Who can  love my tattered brain?

Weights keep piling.

I keep smiling.

Like nothing has occurred.

Things so obvious

But no one can infer.

No sees the blood.

No one sees the tears.

No one sees the outrage

And the loneliness

And the fear

My cries will remain silent

My outlook will remain grim.

Until someone can understand

the misery that lies within.
