The Way She Feels

BlueiBlondie

If you open the door,

You'll be surprised at what you find.

A girl sitting in darkness,

with tears dripping down her eyes.

The world around her,

too blind to see.

Everything she's trying not to be.

Each day is a struggle to go on,

she just wants somewhere to belong.

An outcast to all,

is how she feels inside.

These wounds are deep,

even more than she can realize.

She fights with herself,

each and every day.

Ignoring these thoughts,

but they don't go away.

She feels unworthy,

she feels alone.

She feels unwanted,

and she feels unloved.

She's unable to explain,

why she feels this way.

The feelings are there,

and they won't go away.

They're keeping her quiet,

and alone all the time.

She can't tell anyone,

she's struggling inside.
