Addiction

gaz2486

Reach out when you need to talk,
When you need someone's assistance,
There's is no shame in talking and letting go of your resistance.

An addiction comes in many forms,
It can be anything you can't let go,
It often can creep up on you and sometimes you never know.

Imagine being in a position,
Where you feel you can't escape,
The world is caving in on you and time will just not wait

Drugs, smoking, alcohol, gambling,
Can make your life turn inside out,
On the surface your face is smiling but inside you scream and shout.

Don't be afraid to share your feelings,
To speak out and make a stand.
Write it down or make a video it may not go how you planned.

But be sure you don't stay in silence,
There's no shame you must be brave,
If it continues to eat you up inside it could mean an early grave.

Addictions are hard to break. Glade you included gambling.
