It Calls to Me

Taliac.

I feel myself slipping

away

Into the dark abyss

It calls to me

As a mother calls to a child

Sweet

it feels bitter

Tart

Inside my mouth

I drift in

And out

Cowering

From the nectarous darkness

It finds me

Do I run

Do I hide

Do I surrender

myself

Or stand up and die

Do I dare stand up

And lose those sweet

Harmonious calls

Would that really be the end

Or do I continue

To run and hide

Like Bonnie and Clyde
