A cats perspective

Mumma T

meow

Time to rise, scratch my claws and open my eyes.

I should go to see if my friend has left food for me.

He's still asleep! How could this be? I must go and see if he has forgotten about me!

I paw his chest and hear a sound, he pushes me to the ground.

This cannot be, does my owner not want me?

I jump on bed, once again. This time I land on his head, being startled he jumps straight up, looks at his bed and sees me flop.

He starts to laugh and rubs my head and asks if I would like to be fed.

We go downstairs and pick up my bowl, I am so happy I can't help but purr.

As he puts down my bowl he leaves me there, I just sit there and stare, until he tells me he's going to bed and it's OK to eat and go ahead, as today is Sunday, the day of rest. So my friend is simply not leaving me but he's feeling just a little sleepy.

He works all week really hard, so today I will go and play in the yard.

I do not want to wake my friend so I will go find a mouse instead.
