GOD fashioned our special planet MOON
It was not just a piece that fell off Earth
It was not a stray planet that hit Earth
It was our Planet that was specially made !
VENUS does not even have a MOON
MARS has two ~ the size of the Isle of Wight !
Our MOON os huge ~ 16% of the ......
Volume of Planet Earth and so so close
Only one quarter of a million miles
So close we can visit and then return !
So what does MOON do ? It gives light at night
Controls the tides and affects the Seasons
It affects animals even HUMANS !
Never take MOON for granted it's SPECIAL !

- Comment from author about the poem: Despite the fact that Man has walked on the MOON many times and that we now have detailed PHOTOGRAPHS of the invisible backside ~ Science is still uncertain about its origin. The BIBLE simply says that just as GOD created the Universe ~ the Solar System and Planet Earth ~ He also created the Moon. I have mentioned its significance in the poem and in terms of size and proximity to Planet Earth the MOON is unique. Because we are a LIVING PLANET we need the MOON the size it is and where it is ! Venus & Mars are NOT living planets so they don't need a Moon like ours. Thanks for visiting comments welcome ! Love to all BRIAN
