SPACES

All I see is the spaces

They keep growing every day

All the spaces

Between our embraces

Silence encases

and emptiness paces

The spaces

That replaces

the spot in our bed

Where our love

once lay

I feel so lonely

As the space

between us

Grows day by day

I wonder why you stay

When you don't

Love me that way

All I know is you

Keep getting further away

I miss the way it used to be

When you loved and wanted me

I wonder if we were to go back

To when you wanted me

if things would

Be as they are now

We are compatible

But I still wait

for what I need

I don't know how

To bridge the gap

Between how we are

And how I want us to be

All I see is the spaces

They keep growing every day

All the spaces

Between our embraces

Silence encases

and emptiness paces

The spaces

That replaces

the spot in our bed

Where our love

once lay

Very well written poem. So sad about your love inching apart day by day. Well done. Thanks for sharing!

I love all the words rhyming with spaces and that being the central theme.
