Eyes

kelly123

The only place you can't wear a disguise
Is your beautiful eyes
They are windows to your soul
Parts of you that are never dull
No matter how hard you try
Truth is revealed in your eye
Truth about your power
Carrying your burdens every hour
The strength that you've earned
Through the times you've been burned
When clouds of dispair have appeared
Or the times you have feared
Don't be ashamed of these times
For these are definitely not crimes
The times tears have dropped
Or when your heart has wanted to stop
Let these moments be shown
For they are when you have flown
