A Short Trip

kaychee

Taking a trip there again
My favorite and worst place
Where all my screams go in vain
And silent tears run down my face

Where my fears and abominable nightmares
Are in collaboration with my aspirations
Where I find peace in my business affairs
But engulfed in the thoughts of all my failures

My worst and favorite place
Filled with feelings of emptiness
A defense mechanism where I get misplaced
And though the world surrounds me, I'm overwhelmed by loneliness

Save me before I get buried there
