Her

AshleyBerkelmans

Frost bite
Hold tight
Fire in my soul

It's minus three degrees outside
But I want you to know

The trees are bare
The flowers dead
Yet you make me feel whole

Eyes wide open
Still I'm dreaming
Asleep I'm far from home

It takes a breath to steal mine
Just a word and I'm intent
On showing my worth to you
'Cause I will not forget

That precious smile
That loving touch
The one I crave so deep

So hold me close
Until we're blue
Red roses blushed on cheeks

Until it's dying day
Time will never understand
How we could fade to nothing
While our hands will remain clasped

Take but a second to take this in
I'm content with forever

They said this would fade
I told them to wait
Until this love showed them what they're missing
