Anxiety

WillowTree1414

A Monster lurking in the dark

You walk down the hallway

All you see is the black void that is your mind

Something's coming

You try to run away.

You look down

Hide your face

Avoid eye contact

But the Monster has spotted you

Just a simple question

"How are you?"

Is all the Monster needs

It's feast has begun

  • Comment from author about the poem: I am trying to write a new poem every night. I just don't know why they are all so depressing. Meh, I'm sure I'm fine.
