The Tree we all are.

aBreathOrSigh

Within this lake

I drown.

The sun sets

and I set.

I set a heavy heart.

Branch out to me,

let me feel the moonlight,

let the light reflect

and the shine shine

for I am this.

Roots grasping for life.

    It's true, we all have the same desire in life, namely, happiness. We are "trees" "grasping for life," or seeking happiness. "Branch out to me," an opening up of ones horizons to embrace all that life can give. "Let me feel the moonlight," That relief for your "heavy heart," love or happiness. Loved your poem. Just telling what I saw. - Phil A.

    Such a thought provoking few lines - - I love the appeal of that final statement.
