On bended knees we pray to you

Cookiemiller

Is there really power in a prayer....
We are on bended knees to show Leander that we truly care....

Talking to the Creator above ...
Asking him to spare someone we love....

Give him the strength to make it through...
Bless him with comfort we ask of you....

His body is frail an week ...
A miracle of healing is what we seek....

We miss the smile upon his face...
Being around him was a happy place...

If his time is near ....
Let him know we loved him and he has nothing to fear...

We know he is fighting hard to stay....
We don't want him to go away....

It's selfishness in our hearts....
A feeling when ever a loved one departs....

We know it is all up to you....
And we trust whatever you do....

Just comfort him while he is here....
And give his family strength if his time is near...

A body so weak and frail ....
A face tired and pale....

Not wanting to leave loved ones behind...
A man so gentle and kind..

His life is in a balance of heaven and earth....
Listen to our prayers and all that they are worth...
