those words you said to me

you are my mother

you are supposed to tell me 

I look beautiful 

I am the perfect size

I look great in that outfit

but you don't say 

any of that

you say I'm ugly

you say I need to 

lose weight

you say what I wear 

is ugly

you say that I'm 

a mistake 

you make fun of me 

because of 

my sexuality 

is it true

are those words 

true

    i can relate all to well to your poem, things will get better, just be you,unfortunately some of the most critical people we have are also the ones that are the closes....But to look past them and just be true to who you are. and not change for anyone or anything is the best thing.....
