Like a theif in the night you took everything from me. my feelings, my thoughts and all of my dreams.
Our relationship was strong, I couldn't function without you. Controlling me , numbing me and blinding me from what was true.
Lost and broken I couldn't give you up, you were the only thing that made me feel enough. My scars and the pain remind me of you everyday, I often wondered if I would ever break these chains.
I kept falling down, refusing to face the truth, but now I'm on my feet finally fighting you. I'm getting stronger everyday, my hands shaking less and less. I don't need you anymore, it is time I put our relationship to rest.
Ill never give up again, so no need to wait. Like a predator you stalk waiting for me to take the bait. Freedom from your bondage, freedom at last. you are now just a memory, part of my past.
