The sweetness of life.

Whitbypoet

The waters flow like a perpetual symphony of Faerie music
As pebbles turn over slowly in their dream beds, sometimes
Softly tickled by fingers of sunlight reaching into the depths,
And at other times blessed by the different shades and sounds
Of their sacred cascades, more slowly and peacefully now
They tumble on their way, under age spattered stone bridges
Pausing sometimes in ageless algae etched pools of oblivion
To slumber a while before their seaward journey starts again.

So many sweet spirits have watched and wished from the bridges
So much of dreams and aspirations whispered on Faerie breezes
For them to be whisked away to those magical places they desire,
To ask for scented Faerie blessings to bring them life’s treasures
Of joy, of beauty, and most of all of love in its many different fragrances,
Yet we do not have to feel love to give it, as long as we rejoice
In the gentleness of life’s truly wonderful nuances, rainbows
Always replace storms, and after all, life itself is a wheel of blessings.

Though there are pebbles that think they will never reach the azure sea
In truth for every departure there is an arrival, it is only the self made
Destinations that differ, depending on the depths of our faith and beliefs
If we really trust in our hearts and souls, we will all get where we want
to be in the end, for our seas are beauty, soulfulness and serenity, if we
Truly recognise them, for some people dance into the beauty of a rising
dawn, while others spend their time repeatedly running into the night,
Yet when Faeries touch life’s milestones, they turn to point the right way..
