Christmas (An Acrostic)

AuburnScribbler

Closing out the year although much

Hate has passed to unfortunately

Raise tension in our kind and kin.

In new thought to rekindle

Sisters with their brothers and to

Tether need and heart and no

Matter of egotism, they will

All share a glass, a plate, a wish, and will be

Saying that for now, “Noel is their pill.”

  • Comment from author about the poem: Firstly, a very happy Mother's Day to all mothers out there! I had a lovely day with my mother and she loved the exclusive poem I wrote for her. This is the second of the trio of the acrostics, and although it is out of season, I feel that this festive poem sums up the idea of togetherness, which should not just happen at Christmas but all year round. Hope you enjoy.
