The Cactus Rose

Marie Braden

Some hearts stay connected,

Despite all the thorns,

Your heart and mine,

And God's love divine,

Prayer to be in heaven together,

Sometime,

If God's will,

Oh yes the thorns were real,

Still God controls,

How the heart must feel,

A magnet of connection,

With God's love,

It's perfection,

Saves souls are holy spirit held,

By Jesus hands,

Oh yes we'll pray for all,

Get together in the promised land,

We'll all get together,

Jesus promise,

With salvation's plan,

The Holy spirit joins together,

In God's perfect love,

Seem as pureness of the dove,

And two hearts together,

What God joins together,

Let not man put a sunder,

As sure as the lightning,

Is to the thunder,

And the yellow rose to the cactus.
