Maybe Its Only Rain ll

Angels dance a minuet,
In circles around the moments you never forget,
Faces change like seasons and time,
Falling like rain drops through your mind,
Reflecting in puddles on the streets,
Till a river flows beneath your feet,
Carrying you to an angel you meet.

Twisting and turning above the clouds
She is heaven and the music’s playing loud,
Echoing into the night and beyond the sea,
Grace is the place where all are free,
To soar above halos of silver and gold,
Dancing with the past and stories yet to be told.

Maybe it is only rain?
dripping through the gutter and down the drain,
Although it sounds like a beating heart,
Or an angels wings that begin to part,
Fluttering and taking flight into the sky,
It makes me weep bringing tears to my eyes,
That begin dripping onto the street,
Creating that familiar river beneath my feet
Maybe it is only rain?
Maybe it is only rain?
dripping through the gutter and down the drain.
