Beauty and the Beast

LilMiss1988

Darkness all around me, I can't help but smile. I can't escape, I'll just stay here for awhile. My cries echo as they travel to an unknown place. Ive disappeared without a trace.

Are they even looking for me, I've been lost for years, I fight off my demons one by one, attempting to face my fears. I try to climb out, my hands slipping more and more, I begin to shake my failed attempts create more bruises and sores.

Maybe I'm just tired, I wish I could sleep. My mind playing games always on repeat. I'm starting to see things, hearing voices in my head, it gives me somone to talk to, I listen closely to every word that's said.

The beast standing over me, ready to attack. He wants my soul, he wants me back. I reach for his hand, cradling me as we sink into the sand.

Just before being consumed I look into his eyes, I know together we will someday rise . Holding me tight we slowly fade away, I whisper to him, don't worry my beast we will be okay...

I'm you're beauty you're my beast...
