SHOWERS

ShittyPoet

Alone,
Thinking about life,
Should-ofs, would-ofs, could-ofs and maybes,
Holding yourself,
Warm water dripping down your face,
Blending in with the tears,
Soft whimpers under the loud waterfall,
Hard breathing as the steam hugs your lungs,
The water washing away the sadness.
You wipe the water and tears off your face,
Pick yourself up,
Take a deep breath,
step out,
Leaving it all behind,

watching it all go down the drain.

Until next time.
