I'm sorry

SquareGirl

I'm sorry

I'm sorry for the things I said to you

I'm sorry things I said weren't true

I'm sorry for the hugs I didn't give

I'm sorry for the days I didn't live

I'm sorry you saw me cry

I'm sorry I had to lie

I'm sorry I wasn't happy

You were the best things to come from me

The smile on your face wasn't enough you see

I had a deep pain inside

I'm sorry I had to hide

I'm sorry I wanted to be alone

I know you don't understand what's going on

I had good days

Days when we played

Those days gave me the best memories

Those days made me want to believe

I'm sorry for the lost kisses

I'm sorry for the days missed

I'm sorry I didn't say I love you enough

I'm sorry I made things tough

I'm sorry I'm your mother

I'm sorry you don't have another

This is a good write and emotional. This poem must mean a lot to you and if this is true then it means you really do love your kids. You still have beauty within and life is only judged from here on. You have to forget about the past and live for the future because you can create beautiful things.

well written i could feel the emotion and I'm sure your kids love you just as much as you love them
