When We Already Know So Little.

kevin browne

yet in the floundering of losing all our abilities and skills
to what in seemingly with coincidental practices in giving
that a spark has lit the fire which burns deep inside of you
letting the passings of every day be denied with atrocities
so 'fair thee well' as another wounded heart bleeds dry blood
a misunderstanding between not even if it's worth it or what
speaking around the difference of one language to another
a twisted tongue is fine when it speaks with such venom
so bow down in arrays of amusement that colours live in wonder
a life with a breath of anyone's anger who controls in despair
wondering what it is if we all think about when we want to know
estates with barracks and the arms of hearts that lead away
danger talks big out here in this backyard of your own stealth
claiming a life or falling over one feels like nice to reconcile
when threats are forced upon our shoulder, the mountains fall
silenced all around which explodes into another history unfolding
we watched and will watch again the witnessing of millions dying
such amusement in a tragedy which everyone turned out to see
and the flowers smell sweeter the closer you are to the grave
cut out the core of an existence then that shouldn't really hurt us
only if in agreement a road with the masters of no direction go
laughter is a funny word but it's not when it's pointed at you
the peace we ask for but all we ever get is another war or two
hand in hand with the ak-47 misunderstanding the idea of a devil
thinking about testing the time you thought you may have left
time bombs tick-tocking as Humpty Dumpty fell off his wall
just in remembering and knowing what it is you must do here
creativity in all the evil and the greatest books was ever written
played partly on the inheritance of history taking in some control
never losing it or anything else which was totally irrelevant
capture the picture of imaginations and make them come true
living in a different world far from any other that suits unfitting
greatest we achieve is the work of a phenomenon called human
and in believing who we are and not who we think we want to be
put your arms around the world but not just at Christmas times
sincerity breeds condolences with one another's hopes and fears
touching though just a little bit when we already know so little

Very deep thoughts. Great poetry Kevin. Again touching on the dark side of the human condition.

it's what I like to do. enter the unknown to see if anything is there. if it is then let the world know about it. thank you WriteBeLight. nice speaking to you again.
