Those lost photographs,
Re-embarked on an adventure
To a place where memories where loved,
We were one,
Entwined by mind and soul
But in character
Two people were never as different as they were,
Each broken fragment, clouded by logic
Dug out through the senseless space,
And was welcomed as an unwanted guest,
To the new and profound mind and place,
Blasphemy was uttered at an instance,
We were thrust back into our prison,
But by then our unknown damage was done,
Silence descended upon the buzzing cave,
Not one thought was heard,
Memories started to cripple
And feelings began to numb,
Time was not on our side,
Twas never our best acquaintance
But if only time had merely breathed for a second,
We would have been ready,
The light I can still see,
It had blinded us all,
To this day we all wander around,
Hoping for someone to help our helpless souls,
But at night we will always visit her,
She rests under dirt and soil,
Denying us entrance, always,
So we will sit by her side,
Dusk till Dawn
Nor her face nor thoughts smile.
