Hotel Stop

Be patient as you sign

For your room-card key

And know you will find

Your room nice and neat

Let not the many steps

Make you sweat a bit

But take the elevator there

On your baggage trip

Marvel at the king-size bed

And the great TV

And close your eyes for a bit

At another day complete

See the stars from your balcony

And the swimming pool below

Next to the universal gym

Where the pretty people go

See the Bible in the drawer

And smile for a little bit

Knowing He watches over all

Then read a verse and quit

Rise with the curtains open

With a view of clear blue sky

And be thankful for your rest

On a lonely night

Read the paper as you dine

With waffles there and coffee

Then leave and pack your things

And try to check out promptly
