BRIAN & ANGELA

WELLINGTON CAPITAL : BY ANGELA : AN ACROSTIC

ENJOY THE MAORI SINGING : IT ALWAYS MAKES ME CRY!

WELLINGTON CAPITAL of New Zealand

Extremity of N Island : Gateway to S Island

Lovely climate all year through

Low in Winter (10C = 50F) High in Summer (25C = 77F)

I would love to live in WELLINGTON

N Island has a higher MAORI population

Great from Wellington to visit S Island

The MARTINBOROUGH Vineyards : elegant in Winter

One can sample the Wines, delicious

NEW ZEALAND Wines always palatable!

COOK STRAIGHT separates North from South Island

And I will explore S Island next Year (2019)

People love Wellington for the Museums

I loved all the Cafes & Restaurants

The CABLE CAR rises 400 feet

And is exciting with stunning views : And a

Lovely BOTANIC GARDENS with a BEGONIA HOUSE !

Hope you enjoyed WELLINGTON: comments please ANGELA XXXX

BRIAN encourages me to write ACROSTIC POEMS! For me

the biggest hurdle is not the appropriate words (I am a

Scrabble Player) but making the lines balance to give the

Poem good flow \'cos its FREE VERSE!  RUTH & I were in

Wellington last weekend for a Conference and we really

enjoyed the \"free time\" on Sunday. It was cool 13C  55F

but dry. I promised my Dad some NZ Wine (I will send it

back with BRIAN) so we visited the MARTINBOROUGH

Vineyard, delicious. Wellington is a lovely City and we

loved the Cable Car and the Botanical Gardens. We will

stay again in the Spring when we are en route to the

S ISLAND Milford Sound & The Glazier!  Love A & R XXXX
