I was often told I should learn to read faster
This is something I could never really master
Stopping at school no book picked up after
Until my late 20s reading the bedtimes story
Mr men & women and other magical fairytales
You realise while reading tortoise and the hare
The reason you never wanted to race to the end
You see that words bring the power of emotions with them
I feel everyone as if they are all part of my soul
This maybe why my finishing line was so difficult to spot
For my mind likes to sit down listening to the thoughts
As my imagination starts to join in and I\'m on a new world
Then as I continue on my perception is never the same again
This is why intelligence will never be a race
The only thing we\'ll be judging is what we can\'t yet comprehend
Everything exists here to teach and be taught
It\'s up to us to absorb every vibrational source
