We love to walk the Fells
Every Mountain reaches to the SKY
They charm us with their Rugged Mountain Spells !
Rock climbing is important in UK
A sport the British really care
And we conquered EVEREST
Just because it happened to be there !
The highest one in ENGLAND
Is called SCAFELL PIKE
Its not too high ~ and so they say
You can get UP & DOWN it ~ in one day !
The same is true of WALES ~ Mount Snowden
Which in Bad Weather can be worse
But at the top there\'s a HOTEL
Where you can rest and quench your thirst !
BEN NEVIS is in Scotland
It\'s tough to climb in SNOW
But accessible in the Summer
That\'s the best time to go !

SNOWDEN is 3581 feet
BEN NEVIS is 4437 feet.
The challenge for MACHO MEN and FEISTY LADIES
is to climb all three in 24 hours ~ I\'m too old !

Hunt when He & Sherpa Tenzing came down from
The Summit of Mount Everest ~ 29,029 feet !
